BASIC MATEBOLISM MEASUREMENT WITH FITMATE GS CANOPY

BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS

Full Body Analysis is performed with Multi Frequency Segmental Body Composition Analyzer Tanita MC 780 by Serinth for accurate, total and partial body composition. The measurement is performed by the method of bioelectrical impedance (DSM-BIA) for each part of the body using 3 different frequencies (5kHz, 50kHz, 250kHz) in each of the 5 parts of the body through 4-touch point electrodes (8 parts), performing dozens of analyzes. DERMATOTROPIC MEASUREMENT WITH DERMATOTROPIC METER HARPENDER

The dermatotropic meter Harpender is an appliance designed to measure the thickness of the skin with the help of which is calculated the body fat that needs to be removed. It is widely used and is considered to be the most reliable fat measuring appliance until today.

FOOD AND EXERCISE DIARY

It’s a tool that has a double benefit: both for the dietitian and the client. Through the recording of nutrition and exercise the client can see how he behaves in these two interrelated fields whereas the dietician can distinguish not only the habits and choices of the individual but also the behavior of food and exercise by pointing out any mistakes. The diary can help the dietitian and the dieter in resolving these mistakes with more effective guidance.

The food patterns that are plausible models that not only have the actual size but also the visual characteristics of the foods they represent. They are used to fully educate the person on the amount of food that corresponds to him or her and on his overall training as a «Dietitian» of himself.

HEIGHT MEASUREMENT

The precise height measurement with a SECA altimeter available by Nutripass is important for the correct calcurator of the Body Mass Index (BMI) that is an index for the individual’s categorization into underweight, normal, overweight and obese. In addition, with the height measurement we examine the healthy or unhealthy weight of each person by classifying him or her at low or high risk for his or her health.

MEASUREMENT OF THE CIRCUMFERENCES

The measurement of the certain areas of the body are made in the 1st Session and are repeated once in every month for free. They are performed in 5 areas of the body (waist, abdomen, hips, thigh and arm) and are tools not only for evaluating a person’s progress and his/her physical fitness but also tools for analyzing the cardiovascular risk.

ANALYSIS OF CARDIOVASCULAR RISK STATUS

By studying the results of the examinations provided by each person and with the medical history of the individual we classify it according to one of the above categories based on the cardiovascular risk that he/she is at. It’s a tool that can show us the health index of a person and can be used for his further motivation, in case of a setback on the agreed goals.

PRESSURE AND HEART RATE MEASUREMENT

The measurement is done with an electronic blood pressure monitor that gives us precise values of diastolic and systolic pressure and also for the resting heart rate. The results are used for the interpretation of cardiovascular risk status and to provide counseling so as to help each one to reduce the potential increased pressure values as far as the diet is concerned and in agreement with its doctor.
